With the current Pakistani crop yields lower than most other countries it would make sense to evaluate the whole scenario and come up with a full picture how crop yields can be planned to get greater access to food for Pakistan's poor..
In FAO studies potatoes, maize, rice and wheat have decreasing yield in that order. It would make sense to conduct analyses that would create scenarios for food consumption habits that will provide a more beneficial crop mix that will fill the food needs of Pakistani people..
Thinking out of the box may provide solutions to Pakistan's food requirements and thus create greater employment in the agro sector.
With greater crop yields the food prices will decline thus giving people more for their money thus decreasing poverty..
